Not sure if they count because they're both critically well received but Homicide and The Killing. The fandoms are non-existent.

I binged on Homicide (or at least seasons 1-5 because that's what was up on a now-defunct streaming site + it was on the late, lamented megaupload) and it was pretty damn awesome. I was just thinking about it TODAY because I saw an ad for the upcoming SVU/Chicago PD crossover episodes and thinking about other Law and Order crossovers. And how it now means Chicago PD (and Chicago Fire too, right? I don't watch them) are now in the extended L&O universe and thus also part of the Tommy Westphale universe. :D If only Munch were still there.

You're not missing much by not catching 6 & 7. The quality sliiiiid. But 1-5 was really good. And oh my god, that universe is EXPANDING. Ha!

Actually now I'm looking at episode summaries and I saw most of S6 as well, and definitely noticed the decline. I missed Melissa Leo a lot when she left, although there were newer characters I still liked a good deal (Ensign Ro Michelle Forbes as that ME or doctor character). It's one I'd be interested in seeing again.

Michelle Forbes was fantastic in it. It was a shame when they wrote her off. And Melissa Leo was awesome, too.
