Hey cool, I've done that once or twice myself. I did it with a particular reviewer who obviously had a crush on one of the characters I was writing about and tried to suggest in every one of their reviews that I wasn't making her perfect enough for their tastes. So I wrote them in as an obsessive creep who had an unrequited crush on her.

Very therapeutic, and I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who did this.

Yeah and an added bonus is that the person who "inspired" the character is generally to clueless to know it's them. So you can get the venom out without hurting anyone.
