I moved from one part of the country to another, partly because I wanted to get out of the city I was in, but also to be closer to my sister. She's five years older than I am, is married, owns a house, and is thinking of having kids in a couple years.

I lived with her for ten months until I was able to find a job that'd let me move out, and even now I'm 5-10 minutes from her. We're pretty much best friends. The only time we've really lived far apart from each other was during college, and I don't think either of us really want to repeat that.

If she's not acting like you're forcing yourself into her life, chances are she likes having you around just as much you do. IMHO, if you have concerns, I'd definitely say talk them over with her, but otherwise I think you're fine. Your life is your own, regardless of how close or how far you live apart from each other. Stuff will happen as it happens.

And like weaselbee said, maybe you'll be the cool aunt.
