Now I'm super curious about this game though. Are all the endings so violent and depressing, or are some of them reasonably happy? The art is pretty...but wow. I'm with you, decapitation in a dating game is hardcore.

lol I actually played it again a few times to see more endings. And I enjoyed the dark storyline/atmosphere. It was just like, my jaw dropped and I don't think my expression changed throughout the whole fucking credits when I realized I actually died.

iirc, there are four (plus a fifth "bonus") date options, and each one has "multiple endings" if you pursue them. One is happy, and one (or two) are "bad" endings that are basically violent, psychotic and generally depressing (but sometimes more interesting than the happy ending). I think the decapitation ending was the most graphic, but one of the other endings was pretty bad, too. The decapitation date option is not a good guy to go with all around - I don't know why my character picked to go with him, but I kept being an asshole to him because he is an asshole... yeah, don't do that. :P

lmao. I'm amazed you could 'complete' the romance at all in that case. No wonder the ending was so brutal!

It sounds kind of magnificent though? I like that there's so many dating options and endings, and the way anon below described the plot sounds quite intriguing; sounds like it's worth a play just for the story. (Though the dating stuff does sound fun and I've always wanted to try a game like this.)

If you like or don't mind darker stuff (violence, rape, some disturbing/mindfuck content and some gore), I really recommend it. It's a dating game, so most of it is scrolling through a story and picking options, but if you think of it more as a visual novel, it's great.

I also think to "get" the story you have to go through all of the characters' storylines (though not necessarily both endings). The first part of the game is the same, and the second half involves Aoba (your character) going off exclusively with whatever character has the highest "affection points" for you, and into a unique storyline. But the game isn't that long, and dialogue can be skipped, so it's easy to replay. Just a heads up. :) I was genuinely more interested in the story than the sex myself.

It depends on the context, really. I can normally deal with those things but there are occasions where it upsets me enough for me to not want to continue with something. But those occasions are very rare.

I love the sound of this game, but I did a google search and geez, the installation progress sounds like a pain. ...I might see if there are some playthroughs on youtube then decide if I want to try it for myself.
