Someone linked to a tumblr post a few days ago all about how Jasmine is obviously trans. So now either it's more common than it seemed or someone made a troll secret based on it (personally I'm guessing the latter).

If I remember correctly, someone linked a tumblr post here a little bit ago that outright said that Jasmine was transgender. The person who made it was legitimately confused why people weren't talking about it.

Please tell me the argument was along the lines of Jasmine is not feminine enough and doesn't want to be a submissive woman. Therefore, she's obviously a man.

Something about how she has male guards who aren't acknowledged to be eunuchs which is weird for a young woman. That's the part I remember best. Somehow her tiger factored into it too.

You can see the link below, but I think it was stuff like "her pet tiger is male" (that means something??) "Her guards are men but not eunuchs" (like Disney would spell that out for you) and "Her father is desperate for her to marry so as to legitimize her female identy" or something.

I find it pretty funny that they acknowledge tradition in pointing out that the guards aren't eunuchs but then fail to acknowledge that, traditionally, it was really, really important to marry off a princess (or any daughter, for that matter).
