I kinda wish he was gone too. Or at the very least that they'd drop the goddamn Hook/Emma storyline, because it's making me all sorts of twitchy and annoyed.

Which is awkward, because he's my sister's favourite character (and Captain Swan her favourite ship), which makes discussing OUAT at home rather difficult.

OP of the Hook-hate--yeah, the only person I know IRL who still watches OUAT is a coworker, a massive Hook fan and also a really nice person, so it gets kinda awkward. She ships Captain Swan, but I don't think it's necessarily because she likes Emma so much as she loves Hook and wants him to be happy. I like Emma and want her to be happy, and it feels kinda like character assassination that Emma apparently likes Hook now. I mean, in the first episode she smacks down the creep she fake-dated, and the implication was she was happy to do it because he ran out on his family. I can't see season 1 Emma being okay with dating a guy who ran off with a married woman and left her husband and kid behind to believe she'd been gang-raped/had died. And that's without adding in that the kid Milah left behind grew up to be Neal, with all the creepy implications that has for an Emma/Hook relationship, or any of the stuff Hook did to Emma, like leave her, her mom, Mulan and Aurora in a cell to die and call her "shriveled and useless." So romantic.
