She got the Spongebob treatment. They weren't so bad and were likeable in the early seasons, but are so obnoxious in the later ones.

I've gotva low tolerance for characters like them because it is so easy to jump from hyper but not annoying into omg! Obnoxious.

I agree, it can be done right but Pinkie is no longer in that zone for me.
