Uh what? I think the opposite is true, sort of. At least in companies, talent is almost never enough. Promotions are almost exclusively seniority based - it is still really uncommon to have a boss younger than you, for example.

I don't know who you're talking about (Jpop or something?) but if you mean "talents" as in, the job where you're famous for ... being famous, go on talk shows and make cute faces and silly remarks, then I can't explain that one either. lol
