(Anonymous) 2014-02-22 03:41 am (UTC)(link)It was originally a study in genetic behavioural traits for the purpose of breeding foxes for the fur industry that wouldn't bite their captors.
My problem is mostly with the fact that no matter how well-trained a pet fox may be, they are still recognisable as foxes, which most people see as pests. People are varying amounts of stupid and crazy when they have strong opinions about something. I just think it's a bad idea to put an animal like that at risk because you wanted to keep it as a pet.
