Not that "everyone" loves or hates, but: Homestuck. I love Vriska Serket and hate Eridan Ampora. They are my most and least favorite characters respectively.

Both of these opinions are not unheard of, but it's also common for people to love Eridan, to hate Vriska, or love both, or hate both. They're really polarizing characters. (They're also both huge douchebags.)
