Re: [TRIGGER WARNING] Need advice...
I have never ever heard of it being illegal to carry a pocket knife in the US. And I'm ngl, I'm glad that I'm able to keep it with me (moreso for its general usefulness than any defensive value, though once or twice I have been happy to have it on me for that reason)
ETA: to clarify, when I said "have a knife" I meant "have a knife in public" I wasn't talking about keeping a set in the kitchen. Sorry for not making that more clear.
