SGA slash went on the decline the second they added Keller to the show. Maybe the show did, too, I don't know.

It actually did not. The juggernaut ship, McKay/Sheppard, became somewhat less common, but other ships like Sheppard/Dex blossomed. In S5 and post-canon, there was an incredible outpouring of rarepair fic. The OT3 of Sheppard/McKay/Keller had some good fic.

I hate how people who left the fandom or were never in the fandom think that everything died when Keller came on board. Yes, some BNFs flounced off to other newer fandoms. But honestly, the fandom's been better without them in terms of diversity.
