What are you talking about? Men are applauded for being sexual. Women are the ones seen as gross for exerting their sexuality.

There's sexual, and then there's rubbing yourself on people, walking around almost naked and suggestively licking things and gesturing at them. I've never seen a man applauded for this in respectable circles, least of all in feminist circles.

Some of us realize the word exists outside of feminist circles, where yes, men are applauded for being that sexual (see Robin fucking Thicke for example), while women like Miley are called gross or gendered slurs.

I'm not a fan of the on stage antics myself (I just think it's just a bit too over the top/trying too hard), but given that by all accounts it seems to be confined to the stage (the pot smoking aside), and her albums are selling I'd say that makes her a smart business woman.
