Seriously. I always rooted for Tom, especially after Jerry got him beheaded in that one episode. That one gave six-year-old me nightmares for weeks.

I think the only one that scared me more than that was the one where Tom actually dies, gets told he's going to Hell and he has to do something good before a certain time (or something like that, it's been decades since I saw it) but he fails and goes to Hell...and then I think it turned out to be a dream.

It was one of the rare ones that had a happy ending where the two of them sort of made up but I just remember the whole afterlife imagery making me cry.
