Uh yeah, I have. I used to know a guy who was in his early twenties who was hit on by women in their 30s and 40s and he was completely creeped out by it. It's a matter of power imbalance. Personally, I think regardless of what genders are involved, if there is a 10+ year age gap between a relationship with someone who is 18 or in their early twenties, the older party probably doesn't have the best intentions in mind. There isn't a lot of common ground, and the lust for someone who is barely an adult yet is really creepy. I will admit if I meet a couple with this huge age gap that managed to have an even power balance between them and had a lot of common interests, then I would consider them an exception to the rule.

it sounds to me like your friend wasn't creeped out by the power imbalance (men of any age rarely even feel that) but more like "ew old women are gross". this 'women should be put down once their breasts start to drop' mentality is endemic in men I'm sorry to say.
