Re: What characters/ships did you love until fandom ruined it for you?
(Anonymous) 2014-02-24 03:25 am (UTC)(link)But the ones who don't believe she killed those people don't bother me much. What bothers me is the "she was right in killing them and how dare anyone doubt her, judge her and/or want her away from the group." It's fine that it didn't make you dislike her, but acting like it was obviously a fine choice?
She said she killed two people who were not threatening her. What if it was, say, Bob and he had killed Carol and Glenn to try to keep the disease from spreading? Guess they wouldn't agree with it then, huh?
Re: What characters/ships did you love until fandom ruined it for you?
(Anonymous) 2014-02-24 04:31 am (UTC)(link)I just don't agree with that level of stanning, especially on a show where the characters are not always supposed to be completely good or completely bad. There are tons of shades of gray and I think you should be willing to admit when a character did something completely horrible, even if you like said character.
And I agree, people wouldn't agree with the action if it was another character who did it to people the audience is attached to.
