I know some people didn't like the first few episodes much because of the skeeviness of outfit and how that's played up, but they like the later episodes because it's toned down a ton.

However, it sounds like it's probably just not your thing, if it's the style and erratic energy. That stays throughout the show, even if the second half has been more over-arching and coherent.

Also KLK's probably not a good anime start out with, if you're new to the medium.

Anime's pretty old hat for me. I'm more into manga than anime but I'm pretty familiar with the medium. :)

I might check it out again sometime but maybe not. I'm not really a fan of stuff with an erratic pace. I'm too stress-able for it.
