Considering 85% of the posts here are anonymous, I really don't know if someone's a SJW or not, unless I'm given some of sort of context. But I don't think I've actually called someone that because I haven't really encountered it here.

But the shit, like the whole thing where the artist who got shit for whitewashing Korra when she was actually working on her color use, people who dig up personal information and encourage harrassment on some young teens who said something kind of offensive, people who dig through 500-some blog pages/3 years of twitter usage to find offensive stuff that's probably outdated anyway to dogpile someone (like the whole police women and bear comic thing), or the stuff elephatinegrace mentioned where she was spammed variations of go kill yourself for saying that overeating is a disorder and being morbidly obese is a health problem, I consider that SJW behavior.

I mean, there's overlap between people who do actual SJ activism and people who use SJ as a means to bully/gain popularity. And like how the term troll has been diluted, people use it as a way to say "someone I don't agree" with, but that's the distinct I've seen made here when the difference is brought up. And I've decided to roll with it, because despite f!s's weird hostility towards tumblr and SJW (which in part I think has been caused by excessive SJ trolling and bitterness that tumblr's overwhelming popularity as a fandom platform has resulted in the decline of others, especially DW and LJ), most of the people here seem interested in SJ and equal rights.

This got a lot more ramble-y than I was expecting, but it's an interesting discussion. I'm thinking it'd be neat to bring it to tonight's general discussion.

I also think that most SJWs' interest in SJ isn't fake, they legitmately care about those issues. But that interest is fostered in a community where it's us vs them/black and white mentality, which results some incredibly awful and digusting things, where you're either the best thing since slicced bread or the dirtiest scumbag to walk this earth.
