Hopping in late; I'm not a troll, and I strongly dislike Tumblr. Not so much because of the SJWs, because I certainly hang out in communities where that is a thing, but it's very difficult to follow discussions as opposed to journal sites like LJ and DW. It's also more difficult to look for different things. Say, Dragon Age fandom, on LJ, there's a few different communities. The main one I follow has talk about the game, and also social discussions; there are others that are more character oriented, about different aspects of the game, various different things I'm not as interested in. With Tumblr, if I go by a tag, I get everything and it seems a massive amount of work to filter out what I don't want to see -- and it will probably bounce up again as other people that I haven't ignored re-blog it, etc.

It kinda sucks that there are fandoms I'm interested in there that have moved entirely over to Tumblr with hardly any fanbase anywhere else. Bah.
