Any two out of the first line of your address, your postcode, your date of birth and either your home number or mobile number is the typical identity verification procedure in the UK, unless age-prohibited goods are involved. The jobcentre has a note on my file to not ask me for my number as I can never remember it without looking at my phone, which you're not meant to do. The details will be printed somewhere on the prescription you've handed over.
