Do that. Talk to a doctor. The only way you're getting committed is voluntarily or if you're a danger to yourself or others. So, if you don't want to be committed, don't be violent and don't attempt suicide. You won't be committed just for suffering from mental illness.

You're not alone. You don't have to shatter if you stop the cracks from spreading now but that first step needs to be taken by you.
