The first season was good, and then it fell apart. So if they actually keep this as a miniseries like they say they are, it could have potential.

I pretty much agree with this.

I laughed when I saw the promo on TV.

I just think there are other shows you could do this with that would work better.

My first thought was "Why?"

I loved the first season of Heroes, LOVED, and I did watch until near the very very end because I wanted it to get better, but god did that show become shitty. I'm not sure how I feel about this. (And I have an irrational hatred of Tim Kring too, so that doesn't help.)

Especially with how the series ended because most fans gave up after such a promising start. I have no idea how to feel about this, other than why Heroes?

The timing seems so random too. I haven't followed Kring's career but I guess he wanted to see if he could recreate the initial success of the show? If the miniseries does well maybe there will be more. I'm kind of scared because as long as it carries the title Heroes I'll probably watch out of curiosity, but I don't want them to mess it up any further..

I'm also curious to see who they'll bring back of the old cast and if so, who?

I'll watch at least the first episode but beyond that? It all depends. I haven't followed Kring at all, I just miss the hype of Heroes and how good NBC was at the internet (the web comics was genius). I also went to the NBC store a lot while Heroes was airing and I loved the merch for Heroes (never bought any of it, but still).

Maybe Milo? I'm not sure what he's doing these days. (Isn't he on Mob City? I haven't watched but I've briefly heard about it.) From a storyline standpoint I would expect to see him and maybe Claire back, but Hayden is busy and Milo might be as well, so IDK if the show would fit into their schedules. Not sure who else they would ask..

I miss Heroes too. The basic concept and the cast was mostly amazing despite the sometimes terrible writing and decisions about the story. The first season held a lot of (mostly unrealized) potential, but I don't trust Kring to be able to tap into that now either.

The Heroes merc was so good! I don't often buy merchandise from official websites (usually get it elsewhere), but I still have 'Vote Petrelli' pins.

I pretty much haven't kept up with any of the Heroes actors other than Hayden and that's only because she's on Nashville.

I really loved the first season and the twists there were good. (I loved the twist of Claire being Nathan's daughter) I thought the first season was great and the second season was the one that had a lot of potential that went no where. I liked the idea of the older generation and the younger generation, but didn't like the whole camp idea that was introduced in the third season to explain how they knew each other. I don't even remember watching all of the third season.

The merch was so much fun to always browse through at the NBC store (I was always in and out of Rockefeller Center so it was a nice place to stop at). There were so many good one liners that you could quote. I'm just glad that most people still look back fondly on the first season (I think I should rewatch it)

They're reviving a show that, during its run, managed to destroy the abstract concept of narrative fiction. (No, not hyperbole, yes, I can prove it.)

Why hello, All The Liquor. Do you want to come live in my new bunker with me?
