Billy Bones is the best and I hope the writers don't pull a dick move like killing him off and having someone else adopt his name to make the treasure island canon make sense. I wouldn't be so worried about that if it hadn't legitimately happened on another show already.

I am making a legit attempt to like this show, and the major thing I'm tripping up on so far is that I fucking hate John Silver. He is an irritating, smarmy little shit and the show seems to think I should find him roguishly charming.

I'm sticking it out for now, but they've got like two more episodes to get it together.

I love Billy Bones as well. I always thought "But they can't kill him, he has to be alive until Treasure Island" but now that you mentioned this option, I'm worried, too!
I still don't quite think they'll do it.

I have a slight suspicion they'll turn him into the token gay guy of this series, though.

This will never be seen, but I'd ship Billy/Dufrense. Billy isn't dead. He'll come back.
