I've never watched the show, but I'm right there with you about being tired how teenage girls are portrayed on tv. It's old and tired and writers are better than that. It's definitely something that would make me stop watching, or at least think twice about tuning in.

Just gonna throw this out there: Paige isn't depicted as a delicate flower, she's a fully fleshed character.

It's a good show, you might give it a try.
