Ichigo had an almost-infatuation with Rukia before he defeated Aizen that he only realized after the war ended and he had time to actually think about his feelings, but after two years without a visit or so much as a phone call that faded.
As nothing had ever happened between them he let go of the bitterness pretty easily, but now he sees her only as a friend and has no interest in her romantically because (while he would still trust her with his life and the lives of anyone else he care about) he no longer feels like he could trust her with his feelings.
