Holy shit a secret for The Americans!!!

I don't think she'll turn weak or whatever - the "she's delicate somehow" I think was meant to show how Elizabeth grew up believing that she had to rely only on herself and Paige grew up believing that people were there to help her. It was supposed to say more about Elizabeth than Paige.

Paige is the one who's been the instigator - she calls her parents out on their crap ("You're always fighting...you tell Henry and I to stop"), she makes the decisions and sticks with it. When Philip and Elizabeth split, she stuck up for what she wanted. She was vocal and aggressive whereas Henry withdrew. Henry shuts down, Paige acts out. I don't think he's supposed to be this badass - the most badass thing he did was smacking that creep with a beer and he peed his pants he was so scared.

It was supposed to say more about Elizabeth than Paige. That's exactly what I was thinking.
