So was anyone else relieved when Leslie stopped being on the City Council? She deserves better and bigger things than that, and I liked the post-Council episodes a lot more than I've liked... really the past few seasons. It's obviously always been a political show, that's the whole point, but even for a political show it got too political.

I didn't mind the City Council plot itself, but whose car do I have to wash to make Councilman Jamm never ever darken my screen again?

Also, if Anne is as far along as she is, shouldn't Diane be ready to pop any second now?

That's right! They missed the opportunity to have Anne and Diane exchange baby tips and stuff. That could've been fun. I almost think they even forgot Diane's pregnant though - has it been mentioned since the episode where Ron wouldn't answer his phone or something?

I didn't like the city council plot when she was campaigning and it changed the show dynamic a lot, but I didn't like the recall plot that much either because it felt pretty depressing and I felt bad for Leslie. The recent episodes after the recall have been getting better though.

The thing is, if Leslie goes on to bigger and better things then the show will just get even more political then the city council plot. I kind of want the show to end before that, I'd prefer Parks & Rec end on a note where we're hoping for Leslie's future but we don't have to directly see it.

Me too. :) That's what I liked about the show before, tbh.
