Yeah, Cooper and Audrey were wonderful in their interactions, but I really do think that MacLachlan's stated reason is right on. And spare me the "but she was 17 and it would have been totes legal!" She was still significantly younger than him, and still had some "growing up" to do.

All that being said, if she were solidly in her twenties? Game on.

It makes sense, but they're getting together wouldn't bother me. Then again, I'm about Cooper's age, and my girlfriend won't be old enough to drink for a few more months yet.
