Haven't read the rest of the comments, but

Congratulations! Your comment made you sound unbearably sexist!

Also, I wonder what you would make of feminist theories about humour and satire being the domain of the privileged, and the first thing to be banned or suppressed. Probably not much I'm guessing.

People have some very strange ideas about objectivity and how it affects credibility. It's really not as simple as "she cares about the subject and therefore can't be trusted" but that's how it's so often treated.
