I have never uploaded anyone's nudes to the internet, but I've seen literally thousands of other people do it and thousands more do it and make money off of it. Say what you will, but the amount of times I've seen it happen outweighs my faith in some random anon's significant other of "over a year".

You have no idea what the relationship is like between the OP and her boyfriend, or what he's like for that matter. Anything over a year is considered a long term relationship and it's practically normal for adults to start putting in serious commitment after the first year mark. Also the OP has only spoken positively about him and her relationship, so it's more likely that he's not a dirtbag. Everyone in the world =/= 4chan.

Here's the thing: you never really know how someone is going to behave during a break-up. They can be perfectly fine and normal during the actual relationship, and then, in a moment of hurt or anger, do something really awful after it's over. OP's bf might not be a dirtbag. But that doesn't mean that he's incapable of doing dirtbag things, or that he won't betray her trust should they split.

It sucks to think about, and it's something that we shouldn't have to think about, but unfortunately, it's reality.

This. Everyone who's being all HDU you must upload revenge porn to 4chan!!! is just being naive. I've never taken a naked photo of myself or anyone else, much less uploaded it anywhere, but being away that this is a very real possibility doesn't make you an asshole, it just makes you a realist.
