I thought that if I fell asleep, I would forget to breathe and my organs would start shutting down and I would die.

There was a part of me that knew this was ridiculous, but every time I closed my eyes I'd start freaking out. My brain was going, "HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WON'T HAPPEN? WHAT IF IT DOES? WHAT IF THE ONLY REASON IT HASN'T HAPPENED BEFORE IS BECAUSE YOU'VE JUST BEEN LUCKY?"

Yeah, not a good night.
