What's your favorite book?

Whoa, that's actually pretty hard to answer. I don't think I could name one that's my favorite, but... uhh, top tier? Terry Pratchett's Night Watch, Joseph Heller's Catch-22, Brian Jacques' Mossflower/Redwall/etc...

But if I had to pick one author though and never read any other book by anyone else ever again, Agatha Christie at all the way!

We own Catch-22 and for some reason, I've never read it. I should totally put that on the bedside table stack. :)

I was reading that and my dad ranted on a bit. He'd seen the movie and he didn't like it at all (he served in the Navy in wwii). He did agree on the Catch 22 bit, but he just didn't like the main character at all.

I don't think Josh liked it either which may be why I never read it. I'll have to ask him.

When it comes to that, *I* didn't like it. It's not a 'fun' book, and Yossarian is kind of a jackass. But it's a lot like the original M*A*S*H book, in that it's not giving an inch of glory to war or the people that revel in it.

Yeah, but it's *nothing* like the TV show. The movie is a little closer than the show but...still. Not very close.
