All of this. I remember when the movie first came out my first and I were so disappointed. The next year Halloween I met a guy wearing a Phantom costume and we instantly bonded over how terribly shitting the casting of the movie was. Like complete strangers, instantly spending the next 50 minutes of their lives together just talking about one of the worst castings of all time.

So glad they finally did the 25th Anniversary DVD version and decided to stage the whole thing vs doing just a concert like Les Mis. Ramin's not my most favorite Phantom ever, but I've definitely warmed to him and damn. At least he can sing!
