I like Kojima but I think it's time to put the Silent Hill series to bed. I don't know why they didn't just stop after the shitshow that was 4.

but wasn't that because that was the time when they started to make the series more understandable and "easy" for western gamers and they got more American developers involved? i remember that was the case all the way through until the last Silent Hill game.

SH4 was made by the original Japanese developers and that didn't stop it from being total shithouse.

I like SH4. Only thing I'll concede is that it's not what I expected, or wanted, from a game called Silent Hill.

I'd be interested to see what he'd do with a game under that franchise. I don't think it'd be a good SH game, but it'd probably be an interesting one.
