I'm literally lolling out loud at this comment. You've literally made my night :) And your icon just makes it better. Every time I watch I'm going to be thinking "WARM HEART COCKLES" now :D THANK YOU.

To be fair a lot of the big things that happen to them are things that could have easily happened to the other one, but the writers seem to have them take turns when getting whaled on to keep the balance. They do differ a lot in how they react to the things that happen, though, since they have very different personalities.

Without having watched the show, I kind of assumed their personalities were interchangeable. I feel obligated to actually watch it now.

Ah. Not interchangeable no, but they have very similar attitudes when it comes to the big important things, so there's not a whole lot of major conflict. Mostly it's them-against-the-rest-of-the-word-especially-the-Establishment.

If you really do want to watch the show, just a heads-up that some episodes are more goofy and '70s-ish than others ;)

I'll just head into it expecting it to be a very shounen live-action anime with manly tears, back-to-back shoot/punch outs, layers of camp, and probably tiger skin rugs.
