"Kråka", Kerstin Blodig and Ian Melrose. I can get the most obvious English/German cognates and I read a translation once but I've forgotten most of it.

I did four full years of French, but would hardly call myself fluent. I can read it decently. So when I heard "Montréal -40°C" (Malajube), my first reaction was, "did he seriously just say, 'a polar bear on the bus'?!" Well I was correct, but that was the main phrase that jumped out at me. This song is awesome.

Oh God, I feel I should understand my native language without issues, but it took me a moment to even realize it was Norwegian not Swedish and then my brain took a short holiday before I managed to connect those sounds to Norwegian and finally mostly understand it.

I am finding a lot of music I didn't know about in this thread, and I can't really give anything back because for the most part I only listen to music in languages I understand...
