Actually, there is something to this. Specifically in japan, nudity, especially in children, was traditionally seen as purity, innocence.

That being said, this series is clearly made for the lolicon's and the nudity is meant to be for exactly what it looks like in this case, so I'm heading that argument off before anon gets to it.
