Re: YELLING THREAD
Like I need to get the plates off the old car before the insurance takes it to their salvage lot, and my agent said they'd do that Monday, giving me all weekend, so I got a ride from my dad today and called the lot to let them know I'd be out... and they told me I couldn't get in unless I paid them an additional $60 for storage. On top of the $170 I already paid them to get the car out, then couldn't because it wasn't drivable.
So I would have yelled about that, except that I was feeling too sick to even talk, because stress = horrific nausea. Eventually managed to email the agent, who basically said in nicer terms, "WTF IS THIS, THEY CAN'T DO THAT TO YOU, CALL ME IF THEY GIVE YOU ANY CRAP AGAIN AND I WILL RIP THEM A NEW ONE."
So I'm going to try again in about 12 hoursish, and there may be yelling involved.
And also a giant SCREW YOU going out to all the rental car companies that won't let people use cash or a credit/debit card to rent. I AM NOT GOING TO GO OUT AND GET A MAJOR CREDIT CARD NOT ATTACHED TO A BANK SOLELY SO I CAN RENT A CAR FOR ONE DAY THANK YOU.
