Re: How's the First Day of Spring for You?

(Anonymous) 2014-03-01 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Spring is officially 20 days from now, but there will likely be snow until May at least. The bit of the Atlantic Ocean outside my front door is frozen solid right now, which has not been seen in years. Also it was -20-something Celsius with the windchill this morning.

What is this mythical "Spring" of which you speak? It is but a dim memory in the far recesses of my brain....

I shall add you to the blanket receiver list too, nonny.
We have had snow until July here. That snow being an enormous mountain they plowed in the shade of a museum, so it took forever to melt.

Ah, nonny, I wish you could see what I see (well, not right now, it's night, so ruins the mood), the bright rays of sunshine coming through your window, the sound of birds in the air, calling for love and sex, mostly sex, and each time you breathe in the fresh air, you are reminded that the winter is defeated for another idk maybe 7 months.
The spring is coming, nonny, I promise. It just forgot its running shoes home, so it's coming slow.
