So my brother mentions that he and his wife have been watching Criminal Minds a lot recently (which I don't watch), and says to me:

"You know, you remind me a lot of Spencer Reid. Except, y'know, without the schizophrenia." What the fuck, dude.

So, nonnies, what's the strangest comparison someone else has ever made between you and a fictional character?

I ...don't think I've ever been compared to a character before. Is this a thing that happens often?

Someone once said I look like Michael Landon.

I'm a girl.

I'd assume it was a hair-related observation, because when I think of Michael Landon, I first think of his hair.

I've had people tell me I looked like Dexter Morgan.

Protip: I look nothing like Michael C. Hall.

Spencer Reid is badass. Also, not schizophrenic. Smile!

Was just going to ask if Reid had been made schizophrenic since I stopped watching. Strangely, that probably would have brought me back.

I don't *think* he has. I haven't watched regularly for a couple seasons, but he seems pretty okay.

A few years ago my oldest friend was telling me about a video game he was playing called Enslaved and he told me that the main female character in it reminded him of me. You know the title? It refers to her enslaving the main male character. I asked if it was just because she had red hair (people are weird about my hair; I don't get it) but he confirmed that it was her personality too. Our other friend agreed with him.

Yesterday my brother mentioned he's watched the first 2 episodes of True Detective... and that RC is so much like me he wanted to punch the screen every time he talked. I'm not sure that was a compliment though.
