It's bucketing rain, making this week the most winter-like our weather's been since early December (so actually before the winter solstice)! LA gets rain in two varieties: not at all, and all at once. Droughts suck, you guys. :\

Oh, I've been promising to send blankets to all the folk still stuck in snow. Maybe I should send you an umbrella?
I like rain, generally, but too much is too much.

I'm fine, I'm not going anywhere. I'm more concerned about the people in the foothills who are getting mudslides because there were fires last year and then no rain to regrow any groundcover. My aunt and her family moved not far from there recently, and while they won't be affected by these storms, it could be a concern in the future.
