That trope annoys me because it is always like "COULD I BE GAY ANGST" and 5 minutes later "GAY SEX GURU!!!"

Because the resolution of one's sexual crisis must immediately be followed by a mutual admission of one's feelings for one's friend, which must then immediately be followed by sex, which must THEN immediately be followed by running through a list of all major sex acts/positions/combinations at least once. No breaks will be allowed. Make sure you go to the bathroom before having your sexual crisis because it will be a while otherwise.

ayrt - Yeah also, I've already been through that phase myself, so reading about it is really uninteresting, can be borderline offensive depending on how it's written. I'd just like more, "Huh, this guy is attractive! I'm gonna ask him out." Even if he's only been attracted to girls in canon, you don't have to be "realistic" by making him go through a whole crisis.
