I guess too much time has elapsed and most FAKE fans have moved on to other stuff. I've read the sequel and I thought it was pretty good, although I'm not sure if the series is finished.
And yes, this is a common complaint, but I preferred Sanami Matoh's previous art style. I found it unique compared to the manga styles of the time and I just think it looked a lot better. But hey, artists evolve and it's still quality art. Except for the mouths, she just started drawing really wide mouths for some reason.
