It really depends on the branch and on the particular person. Also, the word "agnosticism" has multiple definitions, and they are all treated differently by the people who you could call "modern philosophers".

IDEK what it means to "treat something seriously" in philosophy. IDEK what you mean by saying that the idea of god is not "treated seriously". Like, um.
