Firefly, now with the added irony that it also had a secret regarding it on this post.
It seems like a show I'd enjoy, I just haven't been able to approach it with a clean slate yet.

I loved it, really enjoyed it. Perfect mix of humour and darkness, good plots, interesting characters. Obviously an individual taste thing.

I watched Firefly before I watched Cowboy Bebop. I loved Firefly a lot, and then when I watched Cowboy Bebop, I got so upset, because Bebop does it better in so many ways. It's ridiculous that an anime has better representation of non-Asian POC than Firefly, which is supposed to take place in Chinese-centric universe.

I lost a LOT of my love for Firefly after watching Cowboy Bebop.

Yeah it might have developed into something worth watching maybe in later seasons, since the last couple of episodes weren't quite as bad as the rest. But overall I don't get the hype at all.

Firefly - now, that I enjoyed so much. Like The High Chaparral or Bonanza in space.

I'd say give it a try when you finally have a clear head from past associations.
