This is actually a good point - this isn't bandom, but some of my college friends/classmates were incredibly high schoolish. Even after college - one of them visited the campus once after graduating, and was talking to a group of her friends; when I went up to say hi, she turned around and said "did you want something?" while her friends - who were my friends too - just stood there. It was like 6th grade all over again. People can still suck in their twenties.

Fuck that shit. Fuck all of it. That's ridiculous. If someone did that to me I would have slapped a bitch. Well, not really, obviously. But that person would automatically not be my friend, because that is so not cool. And the 'friends' who stood by and watched it happen would be on extremely thin ice unless they had a super good reason for their behaviour or immediately made it up to me.

What I'm saying, OP, is that you need to find new friends, because you deserve so much better. Real friends don't do any of the stuff you're describing your 'friends' doing.

Oh, I've graduated and don't see them anymore. Though these weren't really close friends or anything anyway. But it's definitely what kept me from wanting to try making them close friends, you know? If she'd done that to one of them, I would've said something.
