Alice 19th still holds up pretty okay. It's not the best thing ever, but Alice is relatable, and shows some fairly realistic growth over the story.

All I remember from Alice 19th: One time the dudes accidentally kissed, there was a bunny girl, one time the girl and her sister were in the shower together and the sister had EVIL RUNES all over her body, the token American was a black mailman named Billy, and there was also a cool Chinese girl.

The mailman actually inspired one of the characters in my pet project!

That is rad! I always liked him. Even though he was a very minor character he didn't seem like a stereotype for Americans or for black people, and I thought that was cool since the only Americans I'd seen in anime up to that point were blonde, blue-eyed, and went around shooting people.
