I CARE, OP. Axel was a lot more bearable than most the Square Enix characters...Except Squall and Yuffie, because I love them no matter what.

I adored Axel. He was one of my favorite KH characters and definitely my favorite organization member. The end of KH2 slayed me! I see no shame here.

(If their real names have been stated and I don't know about it, well, I haven't really played since KH2 soooo...)

Awww. I think KH2 came out when I was 16 or so, and I really loved Axel. I'm kind of worried that if I played it now, I'd find him really annoying... as I do most Square-enix things, especially the ones that are meant to be broody bishounen. But it's been nearly a decade since I've played KH and with the KH3 announcement last year... ahhh, might be time for a replay.

A lot of people found Axel either AWESOME for KH2, or supremely annoying.

I was in the second group, but he got a lot of character development in Days and then a flashback scene to before he was a Nobody in Birth by Sleep and he really grows on you.

Kingdom Hearts/Chain of Memories/Days were re-released as a set a while ago. The Kingdom Hearts II set is being released with some other sidegames soon enough, too. If you want to replay, you could get those.
