Anyway, it's been a while since I was in White Collar fandom, but definitely Neal/Peter/Elizabeth was quite popular, if not THE most popular thing in fandom. Sometimes Sarah was thrown in, too.
In MCU, there are also quite a few OT3/moresome fics (hell I'm writing porn right now that's basically a series of Darcy/couples OT3 smut scenes). It's not necessarily a big part of fandom, but the fandom itself is big enough that OT3, OT6 (team fic), and OTEveryone (shorthand for team + significant others) are quite sizeable on their own. The comics portion of the Marvel fandom seems to get in on the action, too (from what I've heard, Danny Rand/Luke Cage/Jessica Jones is almost canon at this point).
Merlin fandom had...well, quite a few OT3s, though also very common was merely open relationships (Arthur and Gwen are married but that's just for show/heirs, Merlin and Lancelot are their only-sometimes-secret lovers in reality, etc.), though plenty of Arthur/Merlin/Gwaine action since Season 3, and the knights in various combinations and permutations.
Rest of my fandoms are more het-centric, though. *shrugs*

Maybe try checking them out? All the best Merlin fics are from just after the first and second seasons, so you could skip over most of the show and still enjoy good fic (or read character summaries and the occasional extra episode here or there). MCU is also pretty easy to get into - the movies are quick and easy to watch, and you're good to go. White Collar is the one where I would have to admit you need to watch the whole thing to get it.
Hmm...have you read the Harry Potter books/watched the movies? Lots of fic for just about every pairing imaginable there, so you'd probably find plenty of threesome fic there.

Anyway, don't worry about overly personal, we're all a little TMI around here. :P And yeah, I get wanting to devote more time to other things. I hope your books work out. :) But hey, Star Trek tends to lend itself to threesome and moresome fic pretty well, so hopefully you'll find plenty of OT3 action there. ^_^
