I've never heard of flossing until I 'heard' Americans talking about it on the internet. It's not really a thing here as far as I know. We just brush our teeth.

Interesting! Yeah "flossing regularly" is always a thing over here. A lot of people do and a lot of people don't but pretty much everyone agrees they should.

I've had cavities I wouldn't have had if I flossed more. They formed between some of my back teeth. Flossing really helps get stuff out from between your teeth. I brush really thoroughly and still get stuff coming out on the floss or sometimes even still visible between my front teeth. I'd love to dismiss it as an American dental vanity thing, but I have fillings that prove otherwise.

Not even from dentists? I'm just wondering because every dentist I've been to (in various countries) have always mentioned flossing.
